Affection in Love

affected by a feeling, an attachment, a sentiment, an emotion
Affection is the state of being affected. We are affected by a feeling, an attachment, a sentiment, an emotion. We can feel affect towards people, we can express affect though we may not feel affection. It is a social norm and a natural healthy thing. Young children can seemingly gain security and enjoy their affections. It is a positive affirmation to feel a healthy affection towards someone or to have affect towards them because of a plight they might have. A hug, a kiss, consensual affectionate nicknames are all know ways of being affectionate. Affection is cute ^_^. It is different to a desire or an emotion, because it usually combined with an action and usually in a correct way or context. Some people express that affection can be inappropriate or unrequited, it is easy to accommodate their affection towards no affection.
American psychologist Henry Murray (1893–1988) developed a theory of personality that was organized in terms of motives, presses, and needs. According to Murray, these psychogenic needs function mostly on the unconscious level, but play a major role in our personality. Murray classified five affection needs:
Affiliation, which is spending time with other people
Nurturance, which is taking care of another person
Play, which is having fun with others
Rejection, which is rejecting other people (this requires an appropriate and skillful manner and knowledge), which is being helped or protected by others (This world is bigger than all of us, and we are all small)
